DISTRICT COURT

Gina Marie Nickens, 39, of Caro, is charged with operating while intoxicated (third offense), operating without security, operating with no license/multiple licenses and having an open container of alcohol in a vehicle. A preliminary exam is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 28.

Jenna Elise Gould, 33, of Cass City, is charged with furnishing contraband to a jail prisoner and being a jail prisoner in possession of contraband. A preliminary exam is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 28.

James Aaron Ware, 32, of Vassar, is charged with assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer and third-degree retail fraud. A preliminary exam is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 28.

Ryan Christopher Purdy, 47, of Mayville, is charged with 29 counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and 29 counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct. A preliminary exam is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 28.

CIRCUIT COURT

Robert James Palmer, 24, of Millington, was sentenced to 365 days in jail with credit for 130 days served for assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder or by strangulation and domestic violence. Upon release, he is to be placed on 365 days of probation and was ordered to pay $1,158 in costs and assessments.

Summer Leigh Willett, 33, of Mount Morris, was sentenced to 180 days in jail – deferred – with credit for five days served for possession of methamphetamine/ecstasy. She is to be placed on two years of probation and was ordered to pay $858 in costs and assessments.

Nathaniel Thomas Zaveta, 22, of Millington, was sentenced to 365 days in jail – deferred – with credit for two days served for two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, possessing a firearm while committing or attempting to commit a felony and attempted possession of a loaded weapon in or upon a vehicle. He is to be placed on two years of probation and was ordered to pay $1,244 in costs and assessments.

Randall Scott Weiler, 51, of Mayville, was sentenced to two years of probation for uttering and publishing. He was ordered to pay $3,683 in restitution and $258 in costs and assessments.

Kory Thomas Krauseneck, 40, of Saginaw, was sentenced to 30 days in jail for operating under the influence (third offense). Upon release, he is to be placed on five years of probation and was ordered to pay $1,258 in costs and assessments.

Gary Gene Nanney, 39, of Akron, pleaded no contest to larceny of between $1,000 and $20,000. A sentencing date will be set.

Aaron Michael Eby, 24, of Clio, pleaded no contest to second-degree murder, possession of a dangerous weapon and lying to a peace officer investigating a violent crime. A sentencing date will be set.

Alana Mari Turner-Ambrozy, 32, of Kingston, pleaded no contest to two counts of third-degree child abuse and domestic violence. A sentencing date will be set.

Codi Lee Giddings, 26, of Mayville, pleaded no contest to larceny in a building. A sentencing date will be set.

Jamie Cole Gilliam, 25, of Mayville, pleaded no contest to operating while intoxicated (third offense) and operating while license suspended/revoked/denied (second offense). A sentencing date will be set.

Scott Anthony Curtis, of Ruth, was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served for possession of marijuana/synthetic equivalents (second offense). He was ordered to pay $758 in costs and assessments.Anthony Paul Hawkins, 26, of Vassar, was sentenced to 365 days in jail – deferred – with credit for two days served for interfering with an electronic communications device, assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder or by strangulation and two counts of domestic violence. He is to be placed on two years of probation and was ordered to pay$1,733 in costs and assessments
