James “Jim” Lee Doerr of Caro, age 65, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at his home. Jim was born October 29, 1953, in Cass City, the son of the late Jack and Irene (Guinther) Doerr. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, and enjoyed sewing, his flower gardens and collecting crocks for his flowers, fishing, when he could, feeding “his” birds and taking care of “his” cat.

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Brenda Doerr of Caro; one daughter Sadie Garza, and her husband, Andrew, of Caro; three grandchildren: Willow Grace, Magglio Wesson, and Harrlo Victoria, all of Caro; and one brother, Michael Doerr of Bay Port. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by one son, Levi Doerr.
