Randy L. Forsyth of Millington, age 63, passed away early Wednesday morning, April 17, 2019.

Randy was the son of Marie and Burton Forsyth and was born in Saginaw, on December 2, 1955. Randy grew up in Millington and graduated valedictorian from Millington High School in 1974. After high school, he attended The University of Michigan (Flint) and earned a bachelor’s degree with high honors. On October 8, 1983, he married the love of his life, Sandra Jaruzel and together they celebrated 35 years of marriage. They had two wonderful children: Valerie and Matthew. Randy worked as a truck driver for Nash Finch for 30 plus years. As a family they enjoyed taking road trips together and participating in soap box derby racing. Randy enjoyed classic cars and trucks, woodworking, golfing, and had a passion for gaining knowledge. He had a great eye for details and took meticulous care of all his worldly possessions. His kindness and selflessness was unwavering, always working hard and always available to lend a helping hand.

Randy leaves to cherish his memory, wife Sandra; two children: Valerie Forsyth and Matthew Forsyth; mother, Marie (Charles) Steele; sister, Debbra (Michael) Varley; brother, Ronald Forsyth; along with many in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

The Forsyth family will receive friends on Saturday April 20, 2019, from 2-8 p.m. at the Hanlin Funeral Home Millington. A rosary service will take place at 7:15 p.m. The funeral will be Monday April 22, 2019, at 11 a.m. with a time of visitation before services at 10 a.m. at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church Otisville. The family has asked that Memorial Gifts of Remembrance be made to the charity of your choice. Hanlin Funeral Home has been assisting with arrangements.
