Dian M. Adams of Vassar, age 68, died Thursday morning, November 29, 2018, at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor. She was born August 28, 1950, in Cass City, daughter of the late William and Joyce (McLaughlin) Baranic. Dian was a 1968 graduate of Caro High School and later graduated from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Bay City where she received her degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse. On July 4, 1969, she was married to Roger Adams. He survives her. They would have celebrated 50 years of marriage next July. Dian was employed as a nurse in the office of Dr. Elmendorf in Vassar and later with Caro Family Physicians for many years. She retired in May of 2012. Her most enjoyable times were spending time with her grandchildren and deer hunting with her husband. Her other hobbies included bowling, boating on Lake Huron, crocheting and reading.
Surviving, in addition to her husband Roger, are her two daughters and their spouses: Angila Adams Heinitz and husband Shawn of Reese and Amie Adams Losee and husband Robert of Goodrich; two grandchildren: Bailie Losee and Austin Losee; and brother, William Baranic and his wife Pat of Pinconning.
Honoring Dian’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no visitation hours or services scheduled.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Ware-Smith-Woolever Funeral Directors.
