Judith “Judy” Mae Patton of Caro, age 65, died late Tuesday evening, October 9, 2018 at her residence. She was born September 29, 1953 in Greenville, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Nicholas and Ruth Maurice-Petruna. She was a graduate of Cochranton High School in Pennsylvania. She later graduated with a B.A. Degree from Asbury University in Wilmore, Kentucky. While at Asbury, she met the love of her life, Terry Patton. They were married December 27, 1975 in Meadville, Pennsylvania. He survives her. Judy was employed for 33 years as a Social Worker with the State of Michigan in the Saginaw and Tuscola County areas. She and her husband formerly attended the Vassar United Methodist Church for many years. Her hobbies included crafting, scrapbooking, and designing specialty cards.
Surviving besides her husband Terry is her son, Luke Patton of Dearborn; and her daughter, Kendra Alvey, and husband Jared, of Colorado Springs, Colorado; one granddaughter, Aria Alvey; and two sisters, Loretta Myers of York, Pennsylvania; and Ruth Stallsmith of Georgia.
In honoring Judy’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a Memorial Service to celebrate her life will take place at a later time and date to be announced by the funeral home.
