Ronald “Ronnie” Krauseneck, of Akron, age 64, died peacefully Friday afternoon, September 14, 2018 at his residence. He was born September 7, 1954 in Saginaw, son of the late Lawrence and Viola (Bender) Krauseneck. He was a 1973 graduate of Frankenmuth High School.
Ron was blessed to have two families, the Krauseneck’s and the Wark’s. He was employed for over 35 years at Wark Farms, not only as an employee, but as a brother, babysitter, uncle, and great-uncle. His heart belonged to the Wark Farm and family and they returned his love tenfold. Ron loved farming. He loved the life he made for himself in the Akron-Fairgrove area and gathered many friends along the way which were too numerous to count.
He enjoyed cooking, making the best BBQ chicken, and also enjoyed spending time at the Log Cabin in Wisner.
Surviving are his four brothers, and three sisters: James (Susan) Krauseneck of Saginaw; Dennis and Marilyn Krauseneck of Frankenmuth; Thomas (Carol) Krauseneck and Charles and (Lynn) Krauseneck, all of Saginaw; Kathleen Stuller of Saginaw; Joyce Grooms of Troy, Ohio; Judy and (Tom) Feldmann of Naples, Florida; many nieces and nephews; and the Wark family: Gary and Tammy Wark of Fairgrove; and their children, Michael (Rebecca) Wark, Jamie Wark, and Jodi (Jeff) Sakon.
Funeral Services will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 19, 2018 from the Christ Lutheran Church in Reese. Rev. Dr. Ed Kloos will officiate with burial to take place in the Blumfield Township Cemetery. Ron’s family received friends at the Ware-Smith-Woolever Funeral Home, 9940 Saginaw Street in Reese on Tuesday from 3-7 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the services. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Akron Fire-Rescue.
