DISTRICT COURT

Randall Lynn Hessler, 54, of Caro, is charged with operating while intoxicated (third offense notice), controlled substance – possession of marihuana/synthetic equivalents (second offense notice) and license plate/registration/title – unlawful use. A preliminary exam is set for 8:30 a.m. on July 24.

David Paul Difrancesco, 26, of Caro, is charged with possession of a controlled substance (cocaine, heroin or another narcotic) less than 25 grams, and operating – license suspended, revoked, denied. A preliminary exam is set for 8:30 a.m. on July 24.

Eric Michael Ewald, 38, of Millington, is charged with operating while intoxicated (third offense notice). A preliminary exam is set for 8:30 a.m. on July 31.

Paula Jo Meyer, 45, of Caro, is charged with possession of a controlled substance (analogues), possession of a controlled substance (marihuana/synthetic equivalents). A preliminary exam is set for 8:30 a.m. on July 31.

Daniel Allen Nichol, 46, of Whittemore, is charged with possession of a controlled substance (cocaine, heroin or another narcotic) less than 25 grams, operating while intoxicated (third offense notice), and operating – license suspended, revoked, denied (second offense notice), and motor vehicle – operation without security. A preliminary exam is set for 8:30 a.m. on July 31.

Raymond Theodore Slaght, 55, of Caro, is charged with sex offenders – failure to comply with reporting duties (second offense notice). A preliminary exam is set for 8:30 a.m. on July 31.

Kimberly Denise Hughes, 46, of Marine City, is charged with second-degree home invasion and second-degree conspiracy to commit home invasion. A preliminary exam is set for 8:30 a.m. on July 31.

Jennifer Lynne Foster, 47, of Attica, is charged with possession of a controlled substance (analogues) and motor vehicle – operation without security. A preliminary exam is set for 8:30 a.m. on July 31.

John Gerald Kuhnle, 27, of Vassar, is charged with possession of a controlled substance (cocaine, heroin or another narcotic less than 25 grams) (second offense notice). A preliminary exam is set for 8:30 a.m. on July 31.

Gary Lee Conaway, 41, of Vassar, is charged with first-degree home invasion, operating while intoxicated (third offense notice) and assault with a dangerous weapon (felonious assault) and operating – license suspended, revoked, denied, (second offense notice). A preliminary exam is set for 8:30 a.m. on July 24.

Henry Charles Hall III, 65, of Mayville, is charged with assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder or by strangulation, interfering with electronic communications, and aggravated domestic violence. A preliminary exam is set for 8:30 a.m. on July 17.  

CIRCUIT COURT

Rodney Alan Craig, 55, of Millington, pleaded no contest to financial transaction device – stealing/retaining without consent. A sentencing date is to be set.

Thomas Edward Fields, 64, of Caro, was sentenced to a one-year delayed jail sentence, with credit for one day served, for insurance – fraudulent acts and false report of a felony. He was also ordered to pay $1,316 in costs and assessments.

Gerald Jay Ellison, 55, of Reese, was sentenced to 18 months to 10 years in prison for embezzlement – agent or trustee $20,000 or more but less than $50,000. And 18 months to five years in prison for two counts of embezzlement – agent or trustee $1,000 or more but less than $20,000. The sentences are to be served concurrently. Ellison was also ordered to pay $29,621.08 in restitution to the village of Reese and $394 in costs and assessments.

Chase Ray-Allen Green, 31, of Caro, pleaded no contest to assault by strangulation, two counts of domestic violence and malicious destruction of property – less than $200. A sentencing date is to be set.

Wendy Kay Morley, 34, of Vassar, pleaded no contest to home invasion – 2nd degree. One other count was dismissed. A sentencing date is to be set.

Cameron Sue Rye, 47, of Clifford, pleaded guilty to operating while intoxicated – third offense. A sentencing date is to be set.

Robert Slusher, 23, of Mayville, pleaded no contest to larceny in a building and guilty to home invasion – second degree, weapon – felony firearm and two counts of weapon – firearm – receiving and concealing. Eight other counts were dismissed. A sentencing date is to be set.

Sarah Susanne Woodhall, 37, of Caro, was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served for child abuse – 3rd degree. She was also ordered to pay $385 in costs and assessments.

Jeremy M Martindale, 66, of New Lothrop, was sentenced to a delayed sentence of one year in jail with credit for two days served for operation while intoxicated – third offense. He was also ordered to pay $1,258 in costs and assessments.

Brandon Charles Smith, 26, of Saginaw, was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served for controlled substance – possession of marijuana – second offense notice. He was also ordered to pay $1,008 in costs and assessments.

Anthony Wayne Ramirez, 37, of Vassar, pleaded criminal sexual conduct – second degree (person under 13, defendant 17 or older)/ A sentencing date is to be set.

Joshua Stanley Fields, 38, of Alma, was sentenced to 365 days in jail with credit for 96 days served for sex offenders – failure to comply with registration act – third offense. He was also ordered to pay $256 in costs and assessments.

Eric George Wensko, 55, of Caro, was sentenced to 365 days in jail with credit for two days served following conviction on two counts of weapons – firearm – possession by a felon, one count of weapons – ammunition – possession by a felon and two counts of wildlife conservation pact – taking deer/bear/turkeys. He was also ordered to pay $3,744 in costs and assessments and will be placed on five years of probation upon release.

Hobert Michael Barrett, 54, was sentenced to one year in jail – delayed – for breaking & entering – a building with intent and larceny in a building. He was also ordered to pay $2,213 in restitution and $1,576 in costs and assessments.

Elmer Mark Guild, 67, of Otter Lake, was sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for two days served for operating while intoxicated – third offense. He is to be placed on five years of probation and was ordered to pay $758 in costs and assessments.

Terrance Wilson Mathis, 66, of Kingston, was sentenced to 365 days in jail, to be served consecutively with any additional time that may result from a parole sentence, for animals – killing/torturing. He is to be placed on five-years probation upon release and was ordered to pay $660 in restitution to Sanilac County Animal Control and $1,508 in costs and assessments.

Aaron Spence, 32, of Caro, pleaded no contest to domestic violence – second offense notice and malicious destruction of property – less than $200. A sentencing date is to be set.
