MAYVILLE — Recall petitions for two Mayville Community School District Board of Education members were filed Friday with the Tuscola County Clerk’s office.

The proposed recalls are for Tom Sansote and for Michelle Daniels.

The wording, which was filed by Patricia Pyles, on the proposed recall against Sansote and against Daniels is exactly the same.

Each recall says that Sansote and Daniels should be recalled for the following reasons:

“Failed to address the concerns of the general public at a board of education meeting June 11, 2013, at which time the signatures of 204 people from the Mayville School District were shown, requesting that Principal Christopher Kidd be re-evaluated as an administrator for the Mayville Community Schools.”

Tuscola County Election Commission members Clerk Jodi Fetting, Probate Judge Nancy Thane, and Treasurer Pat Gray will review the petitions. They will hold a clarity – factual hearing on both petitions 1 p.m.. Monday, July 29, in the Tuscola County Probate Courtroom.
