ROSEZERA M. SQUIRE, Brooklyn, formerly of Caro

Passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013 at Vista Grande Villa in Jackson, at the age of 98. She was born Feb. 23, 1914 in Ellington Township, the daughter of the late Jacob and Elizabeth (Voorheis) Woodman. Rosezera was united in marriage with Howard Squire on July 22, 1935 in Merrill. He preceded her in death on Dec. 31, 1992. While residing in Caro, Rosezera attended Caro United Methodist Church and was a life member of the Eastern Star. Rosezera is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Jim Conway of Brooklyn; one son, John Squire of Caro; six grandchildren, Brenda and David Allen of Salisbury, MD, Anne-Marie and Mike Cunningham of Brooklyn, Tom and Holly Lokken of Gaithersburg, MD, Justin, Jason and Jeremy Squire, all of Caro; her great-grandchildren, Justin and Kristin Allen, Sean Cunningham, Tommy and Caroline Lokken; one brother, Charles Woodman of Port Huron; one sister-in-law, Lee Squire of Detroit and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Jim Squire on Nov. 25, 1968; one brother, Milton Woodman in 1959 and one daughter-in-law, Char Squire. Funeral service took place at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 31 at Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Rev. Gregg Mayberry officiating. Burial followed at Indianfields Township Cemetery in Caro. Memorials may be made to Kedron Chapter #33 O.E.S. The family was assisted with these arrangements by Ransford Collon Funeral Home of Caro.
