Serious injuries sustained


KINGSTON — At about 2:30 p.m. Friday, Tuscola County Central Dispatch received a report of a roll over accident about three miles west of the village of Kingston.
Kingston Village Police Chief Dave Lich and Tuscola County Sheriff’s Deputy Ted Hull responded to the accident at the M-46 and Phillips Road intersection.
Covenant LifeNet helicopter transported at least one person from the single-vehicle accident.
Preliminary reports indicate a pick-up truck with a trailer belonging to Long’s County Gas Company, Marlette, rolled over about four times before coming to a stop on the south side of M-46.
Law enforcement officials and the Kingston Fire Department were still on the scene as of press time.
The accident remains under investigation.
