I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the people who helped to make my recent trip to Michigan an overwhelming success. Far more books were purchased than I ever thought possible during such a short visit.
My thanks to Megan Decker for writing the informative articles about my books and me that appeared in both the Pioneer Times and the Advertiser.
I’m very grateful that the Vassar Historical Society invited me to do book signings at the Riverfest Lumberjack Brunches in addition to allowing me to give a book talk on Aug. 15 at the Historical Museum. Thanks to the library staff and Sandy Keyes for allowing me to give a book talk at the Thursday Senior Citizens meeting in the Dykhouse Room.
Thanks also go to the staff of Grandpa Tiny’s Petting Farm in Frankenmuth for inviting me to do a book signing during their Farm Fest Days. I am very grateful to Pat and Roger Goggans who provided me with their home-grown type hospitality during my two week stay at the North House Bed and Breakfast.
Finally, I would be remiss if I did not thank all the wonderful people who purchased copies of my book. I hope that they all enjoy reading it as much as I did while writing it.
With fond regards,
Jerry R. Davis,
