Patricia Jo Fischer of Marlette, age 73, passed away at her home with family by her side Wednesday, January 22, 2020. She was born August 24, 1946, in Saginaw, daughter of Gerald and Gertrude (Sylvester) Miller. Patricia graduated from Cass City High School with the Class of 1964. She married James Fischer on March 27, 1971, at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Marlette and they were married for 48 years. Patricia was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church and enjoyed singing in the church choir. She loved spending time with family at family functions, sewing for family and friends, baking and was a Detroit Tigers Fan.

Patricia is survived by her husband, James Fischer; children: Aaron (Deborah) Fischer and Matthew (Debra) Fischer; grandchildren: Amber, Renea, and Jayden Fischer, Kelsey (Mauricio) Diaz, Justin and Jesse Fischer; great-grandchildren: Luke and Natalie Lamblin and Elias Diaz; siblings: William Miller, Connie (Louis) Calcaterra, Mark Miller and Michelle Miller; several nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Brenda Miller.

She was preceded in death by her parents Gerald and Gertrude Miller; and brother, Michael Miller.

The family will receive visitors from 2-8 p.m. Sunday, January 26, 2020, at Marsh Funeral Chapel in Marlette and 10 a.m. until time of the service Monday, January 27, 2020, at Our Savior Lutheran Church.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, January 27, 2020, at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 6670 West Marlette St., Marlette, with Pastor David J. Sutton officiating. Burial will follow at Marlette Cemetery in Marlette.

Memorial Contributions may be made to United Hospice Service of Marlette Regional Hospital or Our Savior Lutheran Church.
