Jean M. Timko of Caro, age 84, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2019, peacefully at her home. Jean was born November 14, 1934, to Bruce McCrea and Loretta (Perry) McCrea. She was united in marriage August 8, 1953, to Philip Timko, he predeceased her in 1990.
Jean lived most of her life on the family farm on Graf Road. She was a devoted farmer’s wife and mother. Early in life, Jean was involved in her children’s lives involving 4-H and Scouts. The house was always full of friends, neighbors, hired hands and extra children. Later in life, she worked at Walmart and Lasting Impressions Floral Shot. She loved flowers and floral arranging.
Jean is survived by seven children: Richard Timko of Caro, Sheryl Grice (George Schlicht) of Bay City, Lyndia Marker of Caro, Carol Oikarinen of Colorado, Mark (Jean) Timko, Brian Timko and Tim Timko (Becky Graves) of Caro; 14 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren; brother, Ben McCrea and a special aunt, Leone Perry. She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter-in-law, Linda (Kaplaniak) Timko, and a grandson, Ryan Timko.
Cremation has taken place and per her wishes, a memorial/celebration of life will be held at a later time.
