Linda Lou Kosha Arthur transitioned to the next step in her life’s journey on Saturday, January 5, 2019. Linda was surrounded with family and many friends who shared numerous stories, laughter, and memories.
Linda never met a stranger! Her zest for life, her energetic and free spirit, and her natural ability to be the “light in the room,” resulted in Linda making a multitude of special lifetime friends with whom she has shared memorable travel experiences, spontaneous adventures, and many moments of laughter.
Linda was born March 9, 1953, in Saginaw to Anna Mae Sargent and the late Lewis Kosha. Linda attended Great Lakes Junior College and earned dual Associates Degrees in Legal and Business Administration. Linda enjoyed several years of being a successful real estate agent and later became an antiques collector and professional yard sale entrepreneur. Linda was a volunteer for many years with the Human Development Commission of Tuscola County. She was a favorite of many senior citizens and consistently would go above and beyond to socialize with, run errands, and support the special needs of the seniors she served.
Linda is survived by her mother, Anna Mae Sargent; her brothers: Dennis (Kim) Sargent of Traverse City; Gary (Brooke) Sargent of Vassar; sister, Cheryl Baggett; nieces and nephews: Holly (Tom) McTaggart, Jennifer Sargent, Adam Sargent, Sarah (Ryan) Nordby, Kaitie Sargent, Caleb Sargent, Anna Baggett, Russ Baggett; great-nephews: Connor and Carson McTaggart; special friends to include her extended Eagles’ family, too numerous to name; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her fur babies, Champ, C.A.T., and Skeeter.
A memorial service will take place at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2019, at Vassar Eagles. The family of Linda Arthur would like to extend their deepest appreciation to the staff and medical team at Fisher Senior Care and Rehab Center, the McLaren Hospice team, and the Vassar Eagles Women’s Auxiliary. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a memorial contribution to the family discretionary fund, Pet Angel Cat Adoption & Rescue (Frankenmuth) or Leggo’s Animal Haven (Millington).
