Richard C. McNinch of Westfield, Indiana, formerly of Kingston, age 54, died unexpectedly Monday, September 3, 2018 in Scheurer Hospital, Pigeon. He was born January 15, 1964 in Key West, Florida to Richard and Susan (Peter) McNinch.
Richard graduated from Kingston High School in 1982. He earned a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from Michigan State University and Richard worked in print media and industrial photo imaging for Kodak, Sony and most recently a senior account manager for DNP Imaging. Photography, especially outdoor still photography, was his passion. Richard enjoyed cycling and was a founding member of the Dirty Thumb Bicycle Club. He loved coming back home to the Thumb area and boating on Lake Huron and the Saginaw Bay.
Richard is survived by his daughters: Adriana McNinch of Bangor, Maine; Alyssa McNinch of Westfield, Indiana; Autumn McNinch of Westfield, Indiana and their mother, Florence Trisch of Westfield, Indiana; mother, Susan (Robert) Hamilton of Caseville; sister, Mary (Bill) Maese of Peoria, Arizona; his fiancé, Jodi Holwerda of Westfield, Indiana; several relatives and many close friends. He is preceded in death by his golden retriever, Otis.
Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 8, 2018 followed by the memorial service at noon in Kingston United Methodist Church with Rev. Mark Harriman officiating. Family and friends may share memories, prayers and stories with the family at www.kranzfuneralhome.com.
