Deborah K. Armstrong of Silverwood, age 66, passed away with loving family by her side Monday, July 9, 2018 at Marlette Regional Hospital Long Term Care Unit in Marlette.
She was born October 27, 1951 in Bad Axe, daughter of the late John and Eldora (Lane) Shunk. Deborah married William Armstrong on March 4, 1967 in Hannibal, Missouri. They lived in the Clifford/Silverwood area all of their married life. She was a CNA for several years at the Marlette Regional Hospital Extended Care Facility in Marlette. Deborah was a long-time member of Clifford Baptist Church. She enjoyed doing crafts, cooking, baking, gardening and sewing.
Deborah is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, William Armstrong of Silverwood; three children: Tammy Warrington of Kingston, Bill Armstrong of Clifford and Hope (Dan) Schlaud of Vassar; eight grandchildren: Nichole, Addison, Chelsea, Travis, Casey, Ethan, Emily and Ashley; six great-grandchildren: Kaylynn, Mahrieya, Dean, Ryder, Clara and Serenity; one sister, Wendy (Bill) Davis; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Cathy Caruthers.
The family received friends from 3-8 p.m. Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Marsh Funeral Chapel in Marlette and 11 a.m. until time of the service at the church Friday.
A Funeral Service will be held at noon Friday, July 13, 2018 at Clifford Baptist Church in Clifford, MI with Pastor Kelly Curell officiating.
Burial will take place at West Burlington Cemetery, Silverwood.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Clifford Baptist Church.
