Pamela Marie Clara of Ludington, formerly of Bay City and Caro, age 65, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at her home. Pam was born October 18, 1952 in Cass City, the daughter of the late Francis Arthur and Marie Lois Clara. She graduated from Cass City High School with the class of 1970, and later attended Saginaw Valley State University where she earned her degree as a registered nurse. Pam worked in that capacity for Bay Regional Medical Center in Bay City for 27 years. She will be remembered as a woman who lived life the way she wanted to live, with a passion for traveling, especially to our national parks. She loved her dogs, was intrigued by genealogy, and enjoyed collecting antiques, reading, and watching movies. In her younger years, she also raised horses.
Pam is survived by two siblings, Randy (Susan) Clara of Petoskey, Dennis Clara of Caro; one nephew, Paul (Stephanie) Clara of Roseville; special friend of 35 years, Sherry Rister; and several cousins and special friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 1, 2018 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Rev. Michele Hile officiating. Burial will follow at a later time at the Indianfields Township Cemetery in Caro.
