I've been saying to myself a lot lately..."This is the Thumb", or "This is what truly represents the Thumb"!

So- I ask you, when you think of Thumb Area Sports...........what comes to mind? What is it, in your mind, that represents Thumb Sports the best.

Before I go, I have a story to share about an experience that stood about when thinking of "The Thumb".

Last year when I just started with the Advertiser i covered a USA vs Cass City boys basketball game in Sebewaing and with me came one of my friends from the White Lake/Milford area. She was absolutely blown away at how packed the gym was, and the atmosphere that the fans created. She also thought it was the coolest thing, that even though there were fans from both Cass City and USA, that in the end, we were all from the Thumb. It is times and events like these that truly stick out, and represent the Thumb in my mind.

SOUND OFF THUMB SPORTS FANS!!! I want to know what represents "Thumb Sports" in your mind.
