Hello THIRD TRIMESTER! We are 29 weeks and counting!
Things have been progressing quite nicely for our little Madeline Rose. She is still quite the kicker, which makes doing the “kick counts” much easier than I had thought.
According to my doc, she is supposed to kick four times within an hour after every meal. Apparently, Maddie Rose didn’t get that memo because she usually does about five times that amount before settling down to a squirm or two here and there... just until before meal time... or bed time.
But who’s complaining? I enjoy every minute of it!
In fact, the only thing I could complain about is being quite sick right now. Somehow, I have come down with bronchitis... just lovely. My family doc gave me an antibiotic and two inhalers to puff on.
Of course I had to clear them with my baby docs and they approved. They seem to be doing the trick but I still sound yucky... and quite frankly, I feel rather yucky, too.
Thank goodness Aaron will drive us to our third and final Baby 101 class tonight. I don’t think I could stand to drive over to Saginaw myself. With my foggy head, I would probably crash at the goofy round-about at M-81 and I-75.
Next week, we will start the Labor & Delivery class — a duo that strikes fear into my heart.
At last week’s class we got a glimpse of a delivery on video, but as I understand it, that little glimpse pales in comparison to the REAL video that we will watch in the Labor & Delivery class.
Should be interesting... I’ll let you know who turns more pale and gets queasy.... me or Aaron.
