Happy New Year and welcome to the Cookie Jar!

I have never done this whole “blog thing” before, so when the opportunity came up for me to give it a try, I figured, “why not give it a whirl?” Before I get into the day-to-day of the blogging world, I will share with you a quick peek into my life. I am a 27-year-old family gal. I consider us to be the modern-day All-American Family. Our family is as follows; myself, my fiancé, three children (his, mine and not ours), a cat “Manifesto” and a dog “Murphy.” We have a daughter who is 14, a son who is 10, and another son who is soon to be 4. To protect the innocent I will call them Dad, 14,10 and 4.

When I told my family I was going to have a blog I received mixed reactions. The kids thought it was “sweet” and Dad thoughts were indifferent. I figured this would be my way of sharing my stories and thoughts without boring my co-workers. I cannot really tell you what my blog will be about, it may be funny-kid or animal stories one day, movie reviews or just a random thought. So check back often, you never know what you may find in the “Cookie Jar.”

On a final note I will leave you with my New Years resolution. I decided this year that I am going to be more organized, at work, at home and just in general. So far I am still holding on strong. Does anyone else make resolutions? If so what are they?
