On One proud parent

I'm on the other spectrum...Geneo (14 yr old Maltese for those that don't know) stares off into space when I talk to him.
Kinda like my wife...but I deserve it from her!!
I was convinced that Geneo was deaf...so while he was sleeping on the bed, I snuck up behind him and clapped my hands a few times about a foot away from him.
He popped up...so I know he's just faking it when I yell for him to come in from outside.

On What's been going on?

Because I have not seen one coaches report that mentions it. If they did, it would get in the paper.

There are upwards of 10 games a night when they play (mostly Mondays and Thursdays) and I'm lucky to get to two games (including softball too). I have seen Caro play twice, both for less than 2 innings each (I always seem to hit the tail end of their first game when I get there)

That, and great catches don't have a stat. It's hard to talk about when you can't see it all. This isn't Baseball Tonight with webgems.

And I figured this was a great compliment: "Caro just has to make sure to have some solid gloves and we could be following them through the playoffs..." I think that means defense...

I guess this is what I get for ranking Caro the top team in the area and talking good about them...criticism.

On A word about the NHL playoffs

I like the Pairwise idea...I should add you in on the conversation my Yooper buddies and I have been having through e-mail. One of my freinds came up with a Premiership idea...let everyone play for a chance at the Stanley Cup...interesting idea, but I don't agree.

But imagine an AHL contest, the embattled Blackhawks hosting the Wolves, or the Red Wings vs. the upstart Flint Generals! :)

A turnover filled game for Vassar. The Frankenmuth defensive pressure was awesome. The Lady Eagles have now given up only about 40 points the last 3 games. WOW!!
