On Welcome to Sound Off

Don’t tangle me in the spider web called Indianfields politics. And to answer your question regarding my sexuality. It really doesn’t matter - heterosexuals, homosexuals, bisexuals, eunuchs, hermaphrodites... And even taking it another step - races. As I’m sure you know aljon, as a result of Darwinian evolution, many people started thinking about different “races,” but within the context of evolutionary philosophy. This has resulted in many people today, consciously or unconsciously, having ingrained prejudices against certain other groups of people. But not epiph, I love everybody. And you’re assuming I’m a male when in fact I’m more like Pat from Saturday Night Live. You have to guess.

aljon, no, just an observer. I don't even get a chance to vote in that illustrious township. That is why I haven't voiced earlier. I do feel I know the other candidate quite well due to his posts back in July and August. I just had an epiphany that instead of graciously accepting defeat after the electors spoke, that a candidate would work the system and run as a write in. Remember in November, write in Hillary Clinton and make sure to connect the arrow....

aljon, she lost in the primary. The electors have spoken so leave it alone. Campaigning to run in November as a write-in candidate after losing the August primary puts a sour feeling in my stomach.

This must be a down time at mosquito abatement. Click on BillWallace and it shows 34 posts since joining Oct. 13. That is four days. Forget about the scrap, how about a waste of taxpayer's money/time.....

I know this isn't "Tuscola County local", but who cares if Matt Millen was fired by the Lions. This state, or the Lions' fan base, could care less if Detroit wins. Look at the common denominator since 1964 - 274-377-11 with one playoff win - William Clay Ford's ownership. And guess what, the sheep continue to flock to Ford Field every home game. Michigan has supported a loser for 44 years under Ford's guidance, and he is smiling all the way to the bank. Cheer, clap, jump up and down, smack your buddy on the butt and yell "Finally, Millen is gone!" Then go buy your tickets and continue to support the real problem - DADDY. Unless WCF goes, the Lions will lose.

On Take a spin at the fair

Or how about an adult tent with drinks and bands for entertainment. No, if you want that, you can go to Munger for the next three nights and it will be packed. Until someone in Caro (Mr. Council members please listen), "it is not a bad thing for someone to partake in having a few cocktails." Why not have an entertainment tent. Oh no, we have to police it!! Caro has the largest police force ($$$$) in the county, plus the sheriff's department and the state police police post all in town. A fair, or festival, in this town to be successful and attract the 21-45 year old crowd, what year are we in? Go to a council meeting and: "I'm sorry, but if there is beer served, I wouldn't take my family there."
Give me a break. Wake up and quit being a (and I wish I could spell it) hypocrit. The council in this town, especially a few, are nothing but a joke. Hey, let's live by the council rule: It is great to go have a few in Saginaw, but not Caro.

Then they should move......

On Meeting to address employee misconduct

"Bill" left a wordy, but very good explanation on this site's Sound Off on what's going on in Indianfields. According to the post, there have been no cash purchases at the cemetery in nearly five years. Smells like a corpse. Go to the top, click on Sound Off. It's wordy, but worth the read.

On Vassar and MIllington end long-time rivalry

I agree with OMG. One of the biggest things about Friday's in the fall is the big game between your rival. This year, I guess it will be Ubly instead of Millington. But as just an observer, I have no idea if Ubly was part of the Great Thumb Conference deal, that their needed to be a crossover. If not, then I think this was a bad decision. And I'm sure Ubly, which is what - Class D status, is happy playing Vassar since "it's all about six wins and rivalries mean nothing." Just bring back the Thumb B, or with the shrinking schools, Thumb C.B. good buddy.
