Stacey Tucker comes to the Tuscola County Advertiser with a wide range of journalistic experience.
After doing internships at several local newspapers, including the Tuscola County Advertiser, Tucker earned a bachelors degree in Journalism, with a concentration in News Editorial and a minor in photography and graphic design.
Prior to graduating from CMU in 2005, Tucker covered a variety of student life/education issues as a reporter for CM Life, an award winning student publication at Central Michigan University.
Tucker is currently a staff writer and photographer for the Tuscola County Advertiser. In 2007, she was named manager of the composition department, where she is in charge of advertising production and graphic design.
In addition to her managerial responsibilities, Tucker writes many local features and a weekly column. She also covers the village and school districts of Cass City and Reese.
In her spare time she likes to paint, take pictures and attempt to be creative and crafty at home. She lives in Caro with her husband and their miniature schnauzer, Spud.
