Mary Drier has been a staff writer for the Tuscola County Advertiser since 1995. Drier’s writing has won her several Michigan Press Association awards for investigative reporting, and feature articles. Her writing has also earned recognition from agricultural and veteran organizations. Drier attended Delta College for journalism, and graduated from Jordan College in 1984. She graduated from Sebewaing High School. She covers county and state government, and elections. Her coverage area is Akron, Fairgrove, Unionville, Sebewaing, Gagetown and Owendale.
