Died Friday, Oct. 30, 2009 at the Tuscola County Medical Care Facility, Caro, at the age of 95. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 2 at Avram Funeral Home in Mayville, with Pastor David Bostrom officiating. Interment will take place at West Dayton Cemetery, Mayville. Family will receive visitors 2-8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1 and 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 2 until time of service at the funeral home. Elizabeth was born Dec. 29, 1913 to Robert and Zena (Ferguson) Robertson in Almont and married Carl Pollion on Feb. 28, 1940 in Bowling Green, OH. She was a former member of the OES in Caro. Elizabeth is survived by three children, Lawrence (Rita) Pollion of Mayville, Nancy (Tom) Sochowicz of Mayville and John (Alisa) Pollion of Caro; one nephew, Robert Robertson; eight grandchildren, Jeff (Jayna) Wilkinson, LouAnn Ledoux, Doug (Debbie) Wilkinson, Lori (Greg) Roggentine, Thomas Sochowicz II, Sean (Kelly) Pollion, Daniel Pollion and Candice (Brad) White; 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Pollion in 1989; one brother, Leon Robertson; two sisters, Dorothy Robertson and Marion Starks and one niece, Barbara Milton.
