DANIEL M. HUNKINS

Passed away Sunday, Oct. 25, 2009 at Bay Regional Medical Center, at the age of 53. He was born in Saginaw on May 31, 1956 to the late Adelbert and Genevieve (Licavoli) Hunkins. Survivors include his son, Joshua Rushford; a brother, James (Bev) Hunkins; a sister, Mary (Lynn) Putnam; several aunts and an uncle; several nieces and nephews, as well as his special friends, Eric and Jessie and their children, Trinidy and Tristin. He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Hunkins. A memorial service will be held on Friday, Oct. 30 at 2 p.m. at Penzien-Steele Funeral Home in Vassar. The Rev. Gerald W. Harrington will officiate. Private burial will be in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 10 a.m. until time of service.
