Clark was united in marriage to the former Marcella Rabideau on March 23, 1935. During World War II, Clark served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Eager, stopping at Nagasaki and Hiroshima during the occupation of Japan. He ran the Tuscola Drive-In in Saginaw and built Starlite Drive-In Theatre in Bay City, operating both until he retired in 1965. He was keen at skeet and trap shooting, winning numerous trophies and acknowledgments in Michigan and Florida. Clark and Marcella both enjoyed golfing with their friends and were members of Scenic Pigeon Country Club, Bay View Country Club in Petoskey and Cypress Creek Country Club in Boynton Beach, FL. During his golfing career, Clark shot three holes-in-one. Clark’s most valued passion was fishing and being on the water. He loved to share his fresh catches and smoked fish with others and enjoyed being around family and friends. He was an accomplished Captain on the many boats he owned during his lifetime. Clark and his wife enjoyed having fun with their friends and relatives while traveling throughout Mexico, Canada, California, Alaska, Hawaii and Florida. Clark was a member of the Tuscola County Conservation Club, Ducks Unlimited and a life member of Caro VFW Post #7 in Caro.
