Died Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2009 in Lansing, at the age of 60. She was born Oct. 3, 1949 in Marktree, AR, the daughter of Robert William Johnson and Dorothy Clark. She enjoyed knitting, needlepoint, crocheting, flower gardening, camping and canoeing. Evelyn is survived by her husband, Robert Ray Dora of Eaton Rapids; brothers and sisters, Marie Mallett, Joyce (Colin) Edwards, all of England, Robert (Lynn) Johnson of Millington, Donna (Dennis) VanHorn, Margie Johnson of Caro, Nancy Tucker of Mayville, Bobby Johnson, Raymond (Terri) Johnson of Caro, Mary (Dave) Raes of White Lake, Billy (Darlene) Johnson, Tonya Johnson of Caro; stepmother, Elsie Johnson of Caro; mother, Dorothy Clark of Hundingdon, England; sisters-in-law, Caralene Ploe of Houghton Lake, Paulette Austin of Detroit, Barbara (Bob) Singleton of Wyoming, MI; her two dogs, Shasha and Lady Bug. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert William Johnson; brothers, William, Ronnie and Albert Johnson and sister, Penny Johnson. Funeral service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24 at Shelly-Odell Funeral Home, 518 S. Main, Eaton Rapids. Visitation will be Saturday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
