GERALD MARVIN “HOSS” HOUGHTELING
Passed away after a short illness on June 17, 2009, at the age of 73. He was born Aug. 23, 1935 to the late Marvin and Hilda Houghteling. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Kelly. Gerald is survived by eight children, Sue (Monte) Montei of Caro, Brenda (Gary) Keller of Vassar, Duane Houghteling of Caro, Robert (Michele) Houghteling of Big Sky, MT, Ronald Houghteling of Caro, Lynn Smith and (her fiancé John Petiprin) of Caro, Lisa (Kurt) Gillespie of Marion and Raymond (Lori) Houghteling of Pinckney; 17 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one sister, Linda (Howard) Stephens of Akron. A private family memorial is being planned.
