1931 - 2008

Passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at Covenant Health Care Center-Cooper campus in Saginaw, at the age of 76. Bob was born in Flint on Dec. 15, 1931 and was the son of Richard and Antoinette (Preville) Weinzierl.

Bob married Lois Mercer on Oct. 21, 1950. Bob and Lois have celebrated 57 years of marriage. Bob retired from Super Foods Corp. in Bridgeport. Bob also loved to work on his farm. He had also been a very active member of Millington Lions Club.

Survivors include his wife, Lois; two sons, Rod and Bruce Weinzierl; five grandchildren, Christine, Robert, Chad, Amanda and Kiki; one great-granddaughter, Faith Marie; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Dale and Sue Weinzierl, Leo and Beverly Weinzierl; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Delores and Marvin Cranick, Dorothy Alexander, as well as several nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Betty.

The family will receive friends at Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington Saturday morning from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Millington Twp. Cemetery in Millington. You may express condolences or share a memory online at www.hanlinfuneralhome.com.
