1912 - 2008

Passed away Monday evening, June 23, 2008 at William Beaumont Hospital in Troy, at the age of 96. She was born March 10, 1912 in Detroit. Mrs. Bell was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Caro.

She is survived by one son and one daughter-in-law, Gerald J. (Walker) and Marjorie Walkowiak of Evergreen, CO; one daughter and one son-in-law, Elaine and Larry Witters of Troy; three grandchildren, Lynn Ann Morphew and her husband, Jim of Parker, CO, David and Bryan Witters of Troy; two great-grandchildren, Lauren and Megan Morphew; nieces and nephews and her special friend, Mary Hampel of Caro, who she shared her love of watching Tiger baseball games.

Mrs. Bell was predeceased by her husband, Harry G. Bell in 1992; two sisters, Valeria Klida and Bernice Maciejewski and one brother, Leonard Schaffer.

Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated Saturday, June 28 at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Caro. Celebrant will be Rev. Fr. John Ladd, with the Rite of Committal following in Brookside Cemetery in Fairgrove. Mrs. Bell will lie in state at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
