1917 - 2008

Died Saturday, June 21, 2008 at Brian’s House in Davison, at the age of 91. Iris was born Feb. 9, 1917 to Harvey and Jennette (Johnson) Crankshaw in Fostoria.

She graduated from Fostoria High School in 1935 and then married Harry Wing. Iris attended Watertown Center Church. She enjoyed gardening and her pear/apple tree.

She is survived by one sister, Marie Gardner of Wayne and one sister-in-law, Florence Crankshaw.

She was preceded in death by four sisters, Berneice Bader, Lorna Kukes, Vera Cunningham, Rosalyne Kennedy and one brother, Clinton Ward Crankshaw.

A graveside service was held Tuesday, June 24 at 11 a.m. at Watertown Township Cemetery, with Pastor Allen Stebbins officiating.
