THUMB AREA — Because of the timing of Tuesday’s election, the Tuscola County Advertiser will not be able to have the information available for Wednesday’s newspaper.
However, the information will be available on the newspaper’s Web site Tuscolatoday.com as it becomes available, and then printed in Saturday’s edition.
It should be an interesting election. There are nine candidates vying for three seats on the Vassar City Council.
The Caro area will be voting on a home-ruled city charter and, if that passes, the city council that will manage it.
In Sebewaing, there will be a vote on whether or not to continue the process for a proposed change from village government to city, and on a millage for upgrades to the municipal water system.
In Frankenmuth, voters will decide on city seats.
Don’t forget to vote Tuesday. Polls will be open 7 a.m.-9 p.m.
