Slightly over half of the votes cast for president in November 2008 were for Barack Obama. One of his first moves was to use our tax money to fund abortions in foreign countries and allow human embryos to be used in research. You were warned that he had radical views on abortion but voted for him anyway. He claims to be a Christian but has put more time and energy into choosing a family pet then in choosing a family church. If you are a Christian, are you still proud of that vote?
His administration is cutting national defense, tying the hands of the CIA and calling returning veterans “possible terrorists”. You were warned that he was weak on defense but voted for him anyway. If you are a veteran or in the military, are you still proud of that vote?
People are buying guns and ammo and stockpiling them because they are afraid he is going to take guns away and/or put a stiff tax on bullets. You were warned he was in favor of gun control. If you are a hunter or member of the NRA and voted for Obama, are you still proud of that vote?
You were told about his associations with radicals and Chicago thugs. He continues to appoint the same type of lawbreakers to his staff and cabinet. If you are a hardworking citizen who pay his taxes and voted for Obama, are you still proud of that vote?
He was known as the most liberal senator in congress. Those of you with children, grandchildren or great-grandchildren who voted for Obama and now watch him spend your money and put future generations in debt, do you have any second thoughts about voting for him? Do you realize what you have set in motion with your vote? Do you think your offspring will forgive you for selling out your country to socialism and relegating them to a lower standard of living? Are you still proud of your vote?

Are you serious? Yes I'm damn proud of my vote and I made that vote knowing that people like you were going to twist the truth and misrepresent what is really going on, because you are a die hard Republican first and an American second.
You wanna write about atrocities? George W. Bush, you could write for months about this guy.
You call waterboarding and torture "tying the hands of the CIA". That hardly sounds like anything a good christian person would endorse.
Please tell me what President Obama has done that has changed the laws regarding gun control and/or Abortion.
Yes he did change the law regarding stem cell research and to many people that was a necessary change that was long overdue.
It's people like you that spread the lies about him being a muslim, and not saying the pledge of allegiance and all sorts of other nonsense. So what makes you upset now is that no one listened to you then, and they went ahead and elected him President. Well guess what, no one is listening to your hogwash now either. Yes I'm damn proud I voted for him. I'll do it again in 2012 and I'm sure you'll still be writing in all sorts in rumors and lies you've heard or made up.

Scared to death of what the future holds with him as our leader!
He changed the abortion laws to allow partial birth abortions, you know when the baby is actually coming out of the womb and killed.
It's understandable that you don't know any of the good that George W did while in office, as the media needed to portray him as incompetent, even though he was a President that provided more human aid to countries in Africa then any other President. The media continues to "cover" for the current president. Look at how he mocked the handicap while he was out being a rock star on the Tonight show! Look how he holds a $30K per plate dinner for the Hollywood elites. Boy, that money could go to feed the hungry, wouldn't you think? Oh, and what about the news coverage on the recent murder of a US soldier by a recently converted muslim, oh wait, that's not news worthy enough.
It's funny that you consider his lack of allegiance to this country a rumor, since he was photographed not pledging his allegiance. Hey here's another thought. Go to YouTube and watch him try to deliver a speach without his teleprompter. What a bumbling idiot!

Well obviously George W couldn't get it right even with a teleprompter. I believe the word you were looking for is "speech" not "speach" but then you are the one calling the President a bumbling idiot. The media didn't have to portray Bush as incompetent, He did that on his own. President Obama apologized for his statement on the tonight show. When should we expect the apology from Bush and Cheney for the Iraq fiasco and for lying about the WMDs?
So Bush provided human aid to Africa, that is very admirable, seriously it is. Too bad when human aid was needed in New Orleans, LA. you know right here in America, he couldn't deliver. If you want to compare Bush's eight years to Obama's six months I guarantee I'll have more ammo than you will. I'm still very proud of my vote and of my President.

Hey, LCpl Reynero, President Obama is not a muslim, that has been stated over and over again. Its a shame that people just hear the name and automatically suspect the worse and react to it. That happens to often nowadays. Its not his fault his mother gave him that name.
Also, x61sr0, about the abortion issue, maybe you should blame the women that would consent to a partial birth abortion if you think it is so wrong. Its not like the government is just plucking pregnant women off the street and forcing them to have one, that happens in China not the USA. Women have a choice here, so they have to take responsibility for what they choose to do.
As for being proud of a vote that was a constitutional right? Its nobodys business who we vote for or why but it seems to me that people wanted a change from the last 8 years and a chance to pull out of the recession regardless of whose fault it was. Change is a necessary part of life, always has been always will be. The only thing that stays the same in politics is the arguments.

In my opinion those who blindly follow comrade Obama's lead are hopelessly ignorant. The guy is an in the closet communist. Forget the socialist label I say he's a communist and I can't wait till 2012.
As far as G.W. goes, He's a R.I.N.O. For those of you not familiar with the acronym, it means Republican In Name Only.
He started this socialism movement by bailing out Banks and giving money to the Car Co's. Ronald Reagan was our last great President. He understood that poor people did not provide jobs and that by cutting the rich guys taxes allowed the rich guy to expand and create more jobs. As soon as G.H.Bush got in there he raised taxes starting the slow down. Slick Willie doubled down on it and it has finally led us to where we are today, slipping into a depression if we aren't already there. G.W.'s pathetic stimulation checks sent out only boosted China's economy, not ours since that's where all the cheap goods purchased with those checks comes from. We no longer have any substantial manufacturing here in America.
How's those Obamanomics working for you? Caro has over 16% unemployment. How're all you plastec employees doing? Have you noticed all the auction signs in front of the houses in town?
WAKE UP! I spent over 17 years of my life in the military fighting communism around the world, only to see it manifesting itself right here in the good old U.S.A.

Perhaps you missed that people quit saving money during RR's term? A pretty strong indicator of when the money really ran out. Get a couple drinks into any supply side economist and they will admit they are communists. Not a bad system except everyone is equal and some are more equal then others.
I think it funny the Bushies miss that GW was the biggest abortionist on the planet in 50 years.... if you count bombing babies as an abortion. But hey,... they was baby terrorists right? The best way to end abortion is to take away women's shoes, knock them up, and git'em back in the kitchen. Muslim countries don't have this abortion issue for that reason.
Not really a blind follower... just ignoring the Bushies most of the time.

If he's not a communist then I don't know what he is. I go by a persons record.
For starters he associates with known, self proclaimed commies. He's also borrowing all this money to fund his vision of socialism from the communists.
Also, he has proclaimed his wish to redistribute wealth from one to another.
He has used my money to bail out and then basically take over numerous banks, at least one Insurance Co and so far, two major automobile manufacturers. To me it seems as though everything he has done and seeks to do in the future is to hurt our country. George Bush started this mess with the bailouts back in October or 2008. Obama has followed G.W.'s lead and continued by 10 fold. It is now the middle of June 2009 right around 9 months since all of this so called stimulus and I see absolutely NOTHING being stimulated with the exception of GOVT. In fact it has increasingly gotten worse. Government jobs are not the answer as they by themselves are not self sufficient. Govt makes NO money. They can only fund themselves by TAKING money from someone who has made money in the free market. Raise taxes? Every time he opens his mouth talking about raising taxes businesses think about conserving their resources, stopping expansion and limiting if not stopping the hiring of more people. With the unemployment situation the way it is and with all these new tax proposals to pay for all this new outrageous spending, just where is all this revenue going to come from? What happened to his promise of 95% of all Americans getting a tax cut? He has been saying one thing and then doing another since he started campaigning.
I remember Slick Willie increasing the tobacco tax to fund healthcare. Last week Obama declared war on the tobacco industry while at the same time proclaiming a 1 trillion dollar health care overhaul. Oh yea, ask the Europeans how well they like their socialized medicine. As we move to the left they realize their mistake and are moving to the right. As I said before WAKE UP! Read between the lines. You are defending the indefensible. All it takes are feelings to be a liberal. 99% of all liberal policies are based upon good feelings but implemented with poor judgment.
It takes intellect to be conservative.

The tax cut went into effect April 1st. Since then the taxes in your payroll check have been reduced at least $65.00 for the average family.....He said he was going to do it and he did. As far as healthcare goes he is not and never has proposed socialized medicine. You ought to read more and rant less. The Europeans would prefer their healthcare coverage over what millions of Americans have currently, which is nothing. In case you didn't know he inherited a mess, thanks to the intellect of your conservative President Bush. He (President Obama) is actually working quite hard to try to turn this mess around in a relatively short time. President Obama is not a communist so I guess you don't know what one is. Like many Obama bashers you mention his association with known, self proclaimed communists, but fail to mention any names to back that up. Again I propose we let the man serve the term he was elected to serve and see how things turn out. There's plenty of time to complain before the next election if things don't work out.

Who said Bush was a conservative? Not me. Maybe he refers to himself as a conservative, but his actions speak otherwise.
Tax cuts? Ha! you truly are naive. He has already stated he will need to raise taxes by 600 billion dollars just to begin funding on his new health care program. Where's the revenue to pay back the Chinese? Did you forget he has borrowed over a trillion dollars this year already? You fail to recognize the fact that all the tax payers are losing their ability to pay taxes in the first place. Besides, if 65 bucks a week helps stimulate the economy why not 165 bucks, 265. or hell make it 1000.00 ? Wouldn't that do more? I thought he said it was an emergency the likes of the great depression of the thirties? Hey, I thought the liberals all say we need to raise taxes.. That we "can't afford to cut taxes in a time of crisis".. Then why did he give everyone a tax break? Does this mean that tax breaks are the answer?
If you'd like me to mention names. Read about Bill Ayres for starters. He is both a commie and a terrorist. Hell, he even brags about it. He has his own website. Read it from his own words. Oh don't forget the good reverend. He might not be a commie, but if associations show insight into a persons character. well, you get the picture. Or do you?
Come back and talk to me in lets say 6 months to a year and tell me just how well you like Obamanomics and how well everyone is doing. Just how well has the current liberal policies treated Michigan? Yes, we are all prospering, right? If you look around you'll see that the states with the most budgetary problems are all predominately liberal.
When you borrow a trillion dollars from the Communists that money comes with a price. The least of which is the interest paid on it. Not all is monetarily.
As far as inheriting the problem. Well, to an extent I agree with you on that, but then didn't he know what he was inheriting? I thought he had all the answers.. All I have to say is today's world doesn't run on hope and lets all hope his change doesn't have anything to do with changing the constitution and giving the government more control over our lives. Hail the Messiah.
P. S.
I hear Hugo Chavez is worried that Obama could be a bigger Marxist than he. By the way I read that.

It's hard to argue with ignorance. You're all over the place. Obviously you haven't read about what the connection was with Bill Ayres or you are too smug to accept that being on a board of directors with someone doesn't make you close buddies who have the same outlook on anything. And that was the only name you came up with regarding communists he associates with. Then you throw out Reverend Wright, He disassociated himself from Reverend Wright about a year ago. But obviously that's not good enough for you either. When pushed for evidence of your claims just keep tossing out the same tried but failed names.
You accuse Obama of not following through on his promise to lower taxes in your first post. So when pointed out that he already has kept that promise, you go into an uninformed rant about why the amount isn't more than a minimum of about $65 per pay period per family. You suggest more like $1,000, and then in the next breath you are complaining about the national debt. There's just no way to argue with this kind of ignorance.

You must not have gotten the point. Yes he cut payroll deductions, but for how long? He's raising taxes in just about every other area. Lets see. He's proposing a new fuel tax, tobacco tax alcohol tax, those are just the first three that come to mind.
On top of that he's inventing all kinds of new programs with no money to run them.
When you're broke it's no time to run out to the store and charge up a lot of stuff you can't pay for. Is that how you would run your personal finances? Let's see. We got into trouble financially by spending more money than we had. So, let's get out of trouble financially by borrowing and spending more? Charge things you have no money to pay for? Face it. The country is broke... Wouldn't a better tact be to start earning and pay as you go? Do you have kids? Don't you worry that they are being saddled with a huge debt?
My point of recognizing his puny tax cut was only to ask why on one hand a liberal would enact a tax cut and on the other hand they are always fighting them? If it's the liberal way to raise taxes then why did he cut them? That tax cut is not big enough to even begin to pay off a fraction of the interest in the multi trillion dollars he is borrowing from the Communist Chinese let alone fund what is already on the table and he wants more.. I ask you again. Where is the revenue coming from to pay that money back?
Also, you obviously have no argument to the fact that make work govt. jobs won't solve anything as they contribute nothing to the economy. They create 0 wealth. Where does the money come from to finance them?
As far as this continuation of bailing out failing businesses. Your buddy Bush the R.I.N.O. bailed GM and Chrysler out temporarily. Just long enough so that they wouldn't fail under his administration. Was that money well spent? Sometimes it's just cheaper to let them fail than to continue throwing money at them, only to have them fail at a later date. Another will always rise to take the place of the failed one. As long as Govt. keeps out of it, the market corrects itself. Damn, I forgot. you don't believe in the free market. You want Comrade Obama to hold you and take care of you. Keep on hoping. Nothing has changed except governmental control has gotten stronger.
As far as the good reverend goes, he went to that church for 20 yrs and only quit because it hurt him politically.

Right. We've always been in debt, so the size just doesn't matter? God, I hope you don't conduct your personal finances that way or I'll be forced by the "Dear Leader" to bail you out too. I'm still waiting to hear your answer as to where these funds are going to come from to pay for all this spending and also, just how does going into debt causes prosperity. Huh? We're all waiting. Could it be we are all facing the largest tax increase in history? How do you generate wealth by spending unless you're buying a productive wealth generating business and then have the ability to run it properly? Name me one business the govt runs that turns a profit. When you spend your money does it grow?

I know there's others here who agree that spending money you don't have won't make you prosperous. They just choose not to say anything. They're waiting for you to educate them.
THAT'S WHY ALL THOSE PEOPLE ARE LOSING THEIR HOUSES! They spent more money than they had and now they are becoming homeless. Remember T.A.R.P.? I thought if Obama borrowed a trillion bucks from the Commies everyone would be able to keep their homes? Hell, now he has given up on that and decided it's a better idea to just bulldoze Flint and Detroit. Now that's one area I agree with him on.
Good thing I didn't spend more than I could afford. Sad thing is I have to make someone else's payment because they bought more than they could afford. Yep, so much for that big ole tax cut Obama told me I was getting.

Well it's nice to see that I'm not the only one who feels that the country is spinning on down the drain.
I for one am not proud that we have elected a black man as President. Why does color have to be a factor? Now before you all start calling me a bigot listen up. Color is irrelevant. Qualifications and character are what counts and Obama has neither in my book.
Same goes for illegal immigrants. I don't care if they are brown skinned Mexicans, red headed Canadians or blue eyed Russians. If they are illegal they are illegal and have to go! Why? Because they cost me money that's why. Race has nothing to do with it at all. Same with Obama.
Also, let it be known that I have NEVER endorsed either Bush Presidents. I voted for G.H. because he swore "No New Taxes" then sold us out and raised taxes. I later only voted for G.W. because I could not stand the thought of either Al Gore Mr. "The Earth Has A Fever" or that sissy John, "I Served in Vietnam" Kerry in the White House. To me there's not a lick of difference between the two parties and that's where the Republicans have a problem. I tend to lean further towards the Libertarian side of things. Just leave me alone and keep the Govt. out of my business.
As far as health care goes, check this out. Last year I was in Chicago working. I was making a good chunk of change. I also was paying out roughly 900 bucks PER WEEK in taxes. Just how good of a Blue Cross policy do you think I could have bought if the govt would have only let me keep half of my taxes? No Obama wants me to be stuck with Medicade or Medicare one of those two I can't remember which one his teleprompter told me. The only thing we should be paying taxes for are the basics. Military, Fire and Police.
Social Security is a Ponzi scheme, legalized by the Democrats. It pays roughly 3/4 % return on the dollar. A savings account at Team One Credit Union pays more, but I'm not allowed to invest elswhere. I'm forced at the muzzle of a rifle to participate, yet Obama and the rest of the govt is exempt. Ever ask yourself why that is? Probably because they know it sucks and will eventually be found to be insolvent and they want to keep their money safe. Hey Vito, now that everyone is losing their jobs, where is the funding for SS coming from to feed all the illegals Obama is now wanting to legalize? Don't tell me they won't be on SSI cause they will. Hell, they already are!
Hopefully all the lemmings will have followed the lead lemming off the cliff by 2012 and we can change back the change.
Yes, of course the insurance Co's. will win. They already have all our money. Did you forget Obama gave AIG a nice big bail out check? See how those Obamanomics are workin' out for ya?
Just don't forget that when you allow the govt. to form a new program, that program NEVER goes away. It just morphs into a bigger more expensive one.

I have a solution to our money problems though, Saudi Arabia has about 6 trillion dollars in our banks. We freeze all Saudi assets until they hand over Bin Laden. Seems to me we would solve at least one problem. Also, how would you get to work to make them fat paydays if the government didn't maintain the road system? Maybe you could use all your mad cash to buy a hovercraft like the Orbits guy! Also... If you didn't endorse the Bushes why did you vote for them? Do you hate Blond Canadians, too? I would buy your arguments if you had voted for Nader or one of the other goofballs (like that guy in Detroit) that ran for president in '08. As far as the reasons for my voting decisions goes, well I guess at the time it just looked like the lesser of two evils. But who or why I vote for someone, at least until the govt takes it away from me is still my business. Also it is still, at least I think it is, my right to voice my protest to elected officials' actions.
Again, what was it that Bill did to get us on our feet? Could it be nothing? Could it be that the Regan tax cuts were doing it for him?
I already pay a road tax. It's called a drivers license , licence plate and fuel & oil taxes. Why should I be happy about paying a new tax for the privilege of driving on the roads? Oh yea, don't forget those tolls on the turnpikes. If you enjoy paying taxes so much how about paying mine too.

Hey Vito, welcome back. I thought you didn't want to talk to me anymore. I'm still waiting for you to tell me what it is that I'm so wrong about.
I thought the New York family had you whacked? LOL
Regan was one of the greatest Presidents. The Soviets even respected him. Actually they were a bit scared of him after he joked about bombing them on the radio. Remember that? He thought he was off air and said, Quote. "Today I signed into law, legislation outlawing the Soviet Union." "The bombing begins in 5 minutes." That joke really let the Soviets know just who it was who they were dealing with. He took down the Soviets through sheer power without firing a shot. He proved that Capitolism is far superior to Communism. They could not keep up in the arms race and spent themselves out of an empire. That is a fact. It's true history and as hard as the revisionists try they can't refute that fact. If spending like that works then why did they go broke?
If Bill Clinton had such a handle on the economy, then why has not Obama tapped him to be his financial czar? By the way. What's all this Czar crap? Sounds pretty Russian to me. Why is not Obama continuing Clinton's policies? Reason is because his policies did nothing to increase our wealth. If anyone can specifically name what he did that was so great I'm all ears.
The reason why the Chinese are succesful today is because they have learned from us how to play the game. They are using capitolism as a tool to beat us at our own game. They are a communist/capitolist dictatorship. We make them rich and they in turn use it against us.
You can thank Clinton for that by his granting them "most favored trade staus". He took it away from our allies like S. korea, Taiwan and Japan and gave it to the commies. Smooth move that was.

Perhaps you missed that people quit saving money during RR's term? A pretty strong indicator of when the money really ran out.
Get real. Look at what is happening currently. The liberal argument tells the story! The libs were against stimulus checks to individuals. The libs said they wouldn't have any effect since everyone would just save the money and not spend it.
The reason why people reduced saving during Regan's term was because he was turning things around from Carter's disastrous administration. Times were getting better under him and people felt more comfortable spending their money.
Now flash forwards to the present. What's happening? Everywhere you read that spending is down since Comrade Obama has started implementing his Socialist agenda. Everyone is sitting on their money and is scared to part with it. When times are good. People spend. When the economy sucks people tend to save what few pennies they have left. So don't try to tell me that growth stopped during Regan's term. Did you forget how bad it was with Comrade Carter? I, for one remember that you couldn't buy a job during the Carter years.
Oh yea, I almost forgot about those Obama tax cuts. How many of you have employer provided health care? Well he wants those benefits taxed as income. That is unless you are in a union.. Gee, I wonder what will happen once that occurs. It's designed to drive people towards unions. Here in the big city of Caro one of our largest employers, if not the largest out side of govt. will move one step closer to becoming unionized. Do you think everyone will get to keep their jobs after they vote to unionize just to keep their health insurance from being taxed? I seriously doubt it. Walmart will always be thinking about their bottom line and trim back their payroll to maintain the status quo.
Oh, and don't forget the fact that Congress just passed Cap and Trade. Lets all hope and pray that the global warming is a little bit more intense next winter cause I hate to think about how much my gas and electric bill will be if we have as much global warming next winter as we did this past. Our government is so stupid. Forget recession, start saying depression. Oh yea, I almost forgot. China has just announced that it will no longer be purchasing Hummer.. Humm.. I wonder why? Could it be that under the new Cap and Trade policy that they will be just too expensive and won't be viable in our auto market? They might be commies, but they aren't stupid people. They seem to understand Capitolism better than our own government does.

Comrade Obama has shown everyone who has not yet drunk the Koolade just where he stands in reference to dictators and Communism.
He claims that the removal of Honduran President Manuel Zalaya by the military on Sunday was an illegal coup. Does he ever do his homework before he opens his stupid trap? It was a coup in reverse. It was an action to preserve the Honduran constitution which Zelaya was trying to usurp by trying to force a national referendum to extend the contitutional limits on Presidential terms, which is for a single 4 year term. So when the head of the armed forces spoke out that it was illegal Zelaya fired him from his post. The Honduran Supreme Court ruled that firing illegal along with Zelaya's referendum. So, the military, with the backing of the Honduran Constitution and Supreme Court removed a wannabe dictator from power and installed the Speaker of the Legislature which by law would be the successor. For 4 years Zelaya has tried to push Hondurans towards communism. He has hailed Hugo Chaves and Fidel Castro as the future of Latin America.
Yesterday Obama sided with two communist dictators in denouncing the military's lawful removal of a President trying to overstay his term limit. He claims that the removal by the military was illegal, yet according to the Honduran constitution it was their role. Like I said in the past. I go by a persons actions and his siding with the likes of Chavez and Castro show where he stands in regards to individual freedom.

I am amazed at the half truths and twisted right-wing logic being thrown around here! Actually, if John McCain or Jeb Bush was president, right now, they'd be doing most of the same things President Obama has been doing and getting criticized by the Democrats for doing it!

Explain which half is true and which half is false? I challenge you to name what I have posted here that is false.
I agree with the statement that McCain would no doubt be doing the same thing. McCain is a moderate, not a conservative.
I never vote for a moderate as they are followers by definition and not leaders. As far as Jeb goes. I believe that both he and his brother G.W. got to where they are today only because of who their father was. If all our politicians would simply follow the constitution and stop passing all these unconstitutional laws we'd all be better off.
