REESE ‹ Curves of Reese will be welcoming all residents interested in their services to an open house Friday, Aug. 22 and Saturday, Aug. 23.

The business, located at 2017 Gates St. in Reese, will begin the festivities Friday at 8 a.m. and continue until 6 o’clock that evening.

Featured will be free blood pressure checks, paraffin hand waxes, a bake sale and a variety of raffle baskets.

For the kids, activities include a duck pond, face painting and a clown with balloons.

Those who join that day can try their luck at popping a balloon to receive a free year’s pass to Curves.

There will also be food at the event, with pie slices, snow cones, popcorn, lemonade and hot dogs all available.

The events and fun carry over into Saturday from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. once again.
