"Hate" is a pretty strong word chiefmyers.  I watched the Masters on Thursday and saw quite a bit of Fred Couples and a little less of Tom Watson, but then he teed off and played most of his round before the coverage started.  Woods played early today and thus he was not covered on each hole he played.

You get to see the Masters on television for free because the sponsors pay for advertising.  The PGA Tour hasn't been setting the world on fire with a large number of viewers since Tiger hasn't been playing.  The same thing happened the year before last when Tiger left the tour to have surgery on his knee after winning the U.S. Open while playing with a badly damaged knee.  I  would think that this might suggest that Tiger "IS" the story and the majority of viewers do want to see the best golfers.

I have been a Tiger Woods hater since he first came on the tour. As a golfer, I respect his achievements and wins. I do not like the media attention that he brings to the game.

President Clinton had CNN, President Bush had Fox and President Obama has NBC, it is pretty clear now that Tiger Woods has ESPN.

It's the Masters for goodness sakes, but ESPN covered evey hole that Tiger Woods played like he was the only one on the course.

The real golf story is Fred Couples and Tom Watson, but they are playing the role of a red headed stepchild to Tiger Woods.

As a lifetime golfer and fan of the game, Show me the other 150 golfers with a dream, show me the guys over fifty that have another shot at a green jacket. Just show me something else besides Tiger Woods, PLEASE!!! It is the MASTERS, not the Tiger Woods Open.

Jack and Arnie as it meant to the game. Records will be broke, but does Tiger now have the same impact on the game? Do records have the same impact as they did thirty years ago?

Jack and Arnie are loved forever in the game of golf, how Will Tiger "Cheetah" Woods be accepted?

Ah, has already surpassed Arnie and is knocking on Jack's door.  You might want to learn about the game of golf a little more.

Although I personally find him disgusting as a person, I cannot deny that he is the greatest golfer of all time.  It is not even close of who has the most golf skills and Jack and Arnie will freely admit to that.

Enough is Enough!

Im tired of hearing about him.

Let him play some golf, he will be lucky to make the cut at the Masters

His media craze is a distraction to everyone on the tour.

He might get the victories, but he will never be at the same level as Jack  and Arnold.
