DISTRICT COURT

Scott Anthony Curtis, 33, of Ruth, is charged with possession of marijuana/synthetic equivalents (second offense). A preliminary exam is set for 8:30 a.m. on April 39.

Michael Eugene Sampson, 37, of Millington, is charged with carrying a concealed weapon, two counts of third-degree fleeing a police officer, two counts of fourth-degree fleeing a police officer, three counts of possessing a firearm while committing a felony, assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer and operating a motor vehicle without security. A preliminary exam is set for 8:30 a.m. on April 22.

Jason John Flum, 45, of Clinton Township, is charged with assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer, fourth-degree fleeing a police officer and operating an off-road vehicle at an irresponsible speed. A preliminary exam is set for 8:30 a.m. on April 22.

Brandi K. Lasiewicki, 39, of Caro, is charged with embezzlement of between $20,000 and $50,000 from a vulnerable adult, nine counts of stealing/retaining a financial transaction device and two counts of identity theft. A preliminary exam is set for 8:30 a.m. on April 22.

Curtis Lee Smith, 57, of Sebewaing, is charged with possession of a controlled substance, operating with a high blood-alcohol content and operating while intoxicated. A preliminary exam is set for 8:30 a.m. on April 22.

Gary Gene Nunncy, 39, of Akron, is charged with second-degree home invasion, larceny of between $1,000 and $20,000, larceny in a building and lying to a peace officer investigating a felony containing a four-year-or-more maximum sentence. A preliminary exam is set for 8:30 a.m. on April 22.

Amanda Lea Lapeer, 39, of Cass City, is charged with delivery/manufacture of less than 50 grams of cocaine, heroin or another narcotic, possession of less than 25 grams of cocaine, heroin or another narcotic and assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer. A preliminary exam is set for 8:30 a.m. on April 22.

David Earl Cooper, 51, of Vassar, is charged with fourth-degree fleeing a police officer, assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer, operating a motor vehicle without security, operating while intoxicated, operating with an open container of alcohol and unlawful use of a license plate/registration/title. A preliminary exam is set for 8:30 a.m. on April 22.

Julie Anne Callahan, 40, of Vassar, is charged with possession of a controlled substance and operating a motor vehicle without security. A sentencing date is set for 8:30 a.m. on April 22.

David Michael Muz, 68, of Caro, is charged with operating while intoxicated (third offense) and operating with a high blood-alcohol content. A preliminary exam is set for 8:30 a.m. on April 22.

CIRCUIT COURT

Alicia Marie Palmreuter, 28, of Reese, was sentenced to one year in jail – delayed – with credit for two days served for assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer and operating with a high blood-alcohol content (second offense). She is to be placed on one year of probation and ordered to pay $1,308 in costs and assessments.

Roy Kenneth-Edward Little III, 36, of Burton, was sentenced to 74 days in jail with credit for 74 days served for possession of marihuana/synthetic equivalents (second offense). He was ordered to pay $1,508 in costs and assessments.

Nickolas Daniel Morris, 20, of Millington, pleaded guilty to larceny in a building and possession of a controlled substance. A sentencing date will be set.

Wayne Floyd Nelson, 42, of Otisville, pleaded no contest to domestic violence (third offense). A sentencing date will be set.

Debra Kay Stepnioski, 45, of Clyde, pleaded no contest to attempting to disarm a police officer, assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer and operating while intoxicated. A sentencing date will be set.

Blaine Thomas McGowen, 30, of Caro, pleaded no contest to larceny in a building. A sentencing date will be set.
