DISTRICT COURT

Edward Joseph Nowicki, 56, of Millington, is charged with domestic violence (third offense). A preliminary exam is set for 8:30 a.m. on Jan. 22.

Debra Kay Stepnioski, 44, of Clyde, is charged with attempting to disarm a firearm from a peace officer, assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer, operating while intoxicated and reckless driving. A preliminary exam is set for 8:30 a.m. on Jan. 22.

Joseph Wiley Trollman, 27, of Mayville, is charged with possession of less than 25 grams of cocaine, heroin or another narcotic and possession of marihuana/synthetic equivalents. A preliminary exam is set for 8:30 a.m. on Jan. 14.

Blaine Thomas McGowan, 30, of Caro, is charged with larceny in a building. A preliminary exam is set for 8:30 a.m. on Jan. 14.

Cassandra Lynn Clark, 33, of Marion, is charged with four counts of welfare fraud of $500 or more. A preliminary exam is set for 8:30 a.m. on Jan. 14.

Kevin Sheniar Patey, 17, of Vassar, is charged with two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, one count of second-degree criminal sexual conduct and two counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct. A preliminary exam is set for 8:30 a.m. on Jan. 14.

Jacob Alexis Cruz, 32, is charged with unlawfully driving away in a motor vehicle, operating while intoxicated (third offense) and operating while license suspended/revoked/denied. A preliminary exam is set for 8:30 a.m. on Jan. 14.

Richard Roy VanSumeren, 29, of Cass City, is charged with organized retail crime, second-degree retail fraud (second offense), possession of a controlled substance (second offense), conspiracy to commit possession of a controlled substance and operating while license suspended/revoked/denied (second offense). A preliminary exam is set for 8:30 a.m. on Jan. 14.

CIRCUIT COURT

Tammy Lyne Randolph, 48, of Brown City, was ordered to pay $1,485 in costs and assessments for possession of marihuana/synthetic equivalents (second offense) and operating while in possession of a controlled substance.

Joshua Thomas McKinney, 27, of Silverwood, was ordered to pay $385 in costs and assessments for possession of marihuana/synthetic equivalents (second offense).

John Lawrenz Kubik, 55, of Caro, was ordered to pay $385 in costs and assessments for carrying a concealed weapon.

Jasmine Michelle Smeaton, 18, of Millington, pleaded no contest to assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer. A sentencing date will be set.

Justin Alexander Brinkman, 39, of Caro, was sentenced to 365 days in jail with credit for 173 days served for domestic violence (third offense), unlawfully driving away a motor vehicle, malicious destruction of personal property between $1,000 and $20,000, possession of a firearm by a felon, possessing a firearm while committing a felony and operating with a high blood alcohol content. Upon release, he is to be placed on five years of probation and was ordered to pay $3,520 in costs and assessments.

John Schraeder Borcherding Jr., 41, of Millington, was sentenced to 90 days in jail with credit for two days served for operating with the presence of a controlled substance (third offense). He was ordered to pay $1,258 in costs and assessments.

Dennis Scott Jager, 45, of Millington, pleaded no contest to assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer, operating a motor vehicle without security and operating an unregistered vehicle. A sentencing date will be set.

Timothy Warren Beringer, 42, of Sebewaing, pleaded no contest to two counts of assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer and operating while intoxicated. A sentencing date will be set.

Robert Phelps Robinson, 42, of Gagetown, pleaded no contest to uttering and publishing. A sentencing date will be set.

Melvin Wayne Drier Jr., 28, of Mayville, pleaded no contest to third-degree child abuse and domestic violence. A sentencing date will be set.

Duane Neil Metro, 37, of Millington, pleaded no contest to three counts of assaulting/obstructing/resisting a police officer. A sentencing date will be set.

Jeffrey Alan Streeter, 46, of Flint, pleaded guilty to operating with a high blood alcohol content (third offense) and possession of marijuana/synthetic equivalents (second offense). A sentencing date will be set.

Kory Thomas Krauseneck, 39, of Saginaw, pleaded guilty to operating while intoxicated (third offense). A sentencing date will be set.

Brady Martin Wilbur, 25, of Millington, was sentenced to 365 days in jail with credit for 73 days served for delivery/manufacture of 5-45 kilograms of marijuana/synthetic equivalents or 20-200 plants, delivery/manufacture of marijuana/synthetic equivalents and operating while intoxicated (second offense). Upon release, he is to be placed on five years of probation and was ordered to pay $2,516 in costs and assessments.

Zachary Scott Ellis, 24, of Vassar, was sentenced to 90 days in jail with credit for two days served for unlawfully driving away a motor vehicle. Upon release, he is to be placed on three years of probation and was ordered to pay $1,258 in costs and assessments.
