M.I.R.A. posts weekend race results from Caro 150

CARO — The following are the Midwest International Racing Association (M.I.R.A.) scores for racers who competed in the Caro 150.
For the Pro Mod Enduro, Cadarette Collision Racing’s team took first place, LMB Speed Shop’s team took second place, Hunt Racing’s team took third place, and Piche Performance’s team took fourth place.
In the Semi Pro Enduro race, Millenium Motor Sports’ team took first place, Piche Performance’s team took second place, Bell Racing’s team third, and Hunt Racing’s team fourth.
In the Pro/Am Enduro LMB Speed Shop’s team took first, Cadarette Collision Racing’s team took second, and Millenium Motor Sports’ team took third and fourth place.
For the Pro Enduro Shoot Out race, Cadarette Collision Racing’s team took first place with Got Yank Racing’s team taking second, and Hunt Racing’s team coming in third.
For the following races those with the highest points took first, second, and third place:
Semi Pro Stock 600 Sprint: Matt Ryan – 16 points; Kurt Russell -15 points; and George Armstrong -12 points.
Semi Pro 600 Open: Keith Gainforth – 20 points; Andy Shoemaker – 19 points; and John Giffel and Bryan Ball each earning 17 points.
Limited 500: Andy Shoemaker – 21 points; John Giffel – 19 points; and Amanda Vermeersch – 15.
Limited 600: Andy Shoemaker – 19 points; Tom Bell – 15 points; and Brad Bruehn – 15 points.
Pure Stock/Stock 600 Sprint: Kurt Vermeersch – 15 points; George Armstrong – 14 points; and Justin Walsky – 12 points.
Pro Champ 440: Tyler Nickels – 21 points; Robert Reis – 17 points; and Jeff Longton – 16 points.
Pro Open 600: Eric Bouman – 24 points; Tyler Nickels – 23 points; and Jeff Longton – 21 points.
M.I.R.A. started in 1979 as a snowmobile enduro racing circuit racing throughout the Midwest and Michigan. When it started, the races were “true” enduros of 250 miles, or 500 laps on the half mile track.
However, as time progressed, M.I.R.A. added a sprint racing format to accommodate racers that didn’t want to race the long distances. In that time the enduros were down-sized to 250-500 lap events to make room for the sprint racing.

When is the fairgrounds going to have motorcycle motocross like the other fairgrounds do ? They fill the stands.
