Steven Rex Elwood, 35, Caro, is charged with child abuse, third degree; domestic violence. Pretrial was Jan. 3 and preliminary exam is set for Jan. 9.
Randy Dwayne Walker – Decker, 28, Caro, is charged with 22 counts of criminal sexual conduct, third degree (person 13-15); three counts of criminal sexual conduct, fourth degree (person 13-16). Pretrial was Jan. 3 and preliminary exam is set for Jan. 9.
Justin Keith Bowles, 22, Waterford, is charged with home invasion, first degree; larceny – $1,000-$20,000; stolen property – receiving and concealing, property valued at $200-$1,000. Pretrial is set for Jan. 9 and preliminary exam is set for Jan. 17.

Circuit Court
Tony Scott Bossert, 37, Caro, pleaded not guilty to three counts of police officer – assaulting/resisting/obstructing; controlled substance – possession of marijuana. Pretrial to be set.
Jadie Edward Periso Jr., 25, Cass City, was sentenced to 365 days with 1 day credit, 60 months probation for stolen property – receiving and concealing, property valued at $1,000-$20,000. He was ordered to pay $3,598 in costs and fines.
Rudolph James Blackman, 47, Flint, pleaded guilty to child support – failure to pay. Sentence date to be set.
Adam Douglas Pennell, 31, Vassar, pleaded no contest to controlled substance – delivery/manufacturing 5-45 kilograms of marijuana, second offense. Sentence date to be set.
Antonino Batista Cusenza, Jr., 30, Fairgrove, was sentenced to 3-15 years with 1 day credit for criminal sexual conduct, first degree (multiple variables). He was ordered to pay $198 in costs and fines.
Amanda Marcella Pennell, 32, Vassar, pleaded no contest to controlled substance – delivery/manufacturing 5-45 kilograms of marijuana. Sentence date to be set.
Alvin James Godin, 50, Caro, was sentenced to 12 months delayed on two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon. He was ordered to pay $2,172 in costs and fines.
Aquire Bernard Simmons, 17, Detroit, was sentenced to 12 months delayed for police officer – assaulting/resisting/obstructing; 30 days with 2 days credit for assault and battery. He was ordered to pay $1,231 in costs and fines.
Christopher Jeffrey Horst, 23, Sebewaing, was sentenced to 12 months delayed for breaking and entering a building with intent; 180 days with 1 day credit for larceny from a motor vehicle. He was ordered to pay $610 in restitution and $1,551 in costs and fines.
John James Phelps, 67, Cass City, pleaded not guilty to operating while intoxicated, third offense; operating with a suspended license, second offense; alcohol – open container in vehicle, habitual offender, fourth offense. Pretrial to be set.
Daniel Stephen Stepanski, 22, Caro, pleaded not guilty to interfering with electronic communications; domestic violence; malicious destruction of property, less than $200. Pretrial to be set.
Samuel Levi Tallman, 48, Caro, pleaded not guilty to controlled substance – delivery/manufacturing 5-45 kilograms of marijuana, second offense. Pretrial to be set.
Joseph Eugene Donovan, 32, Gagetown, pleaded not guilty to home invasion, second degree; larceny, less than $200. Pretrial to be set.
